Reduce the voting age to 16 for the snap general election.
With Theresa May announcing that she will seek a snap general election, I believe that it is important that the youth of Britain have a fair opportunity to participate in the deciding of our country's fate.
Although I myself would not yet be eligible to vote as I would be 15 at the time of the election, I believe that it is imperative that the voting age for this general election is reduced to the age of 16 years.
By doing this we would be allowing the youth of our country, who will be living with the decisions of the elected government for years to come, to help mould the future of this great nation by being given the right to vote in this snap general election.
