Petition Action

Give the vote to 16 and 17 year olds for the general election on June the 8th

Petition Details

This petition is to give 16 and 17 year olds the right to vote in the next UK election which is scheduled for the 8th of June. This would be a freedom we value. We're tired of being ingnored and penalised for being young and ignorant. Our opinion matters! Please sign and share for our future.

Additional Information

16 and 17 year olds have the right to take up the following responsibilities:
- Join the military
- Leave Home
- Bring a child into the world
- Pay taxes
- Leave school

With so many other examples the one thing we don't have is the right to vote on who has control over these rights. Give the vote to 16 and 17 year olds and stop denying us a freedom which we will value.
Our opinion matters just as much as everyone elses. Our future should be in our hands.
