Allow votes for 16-17 year olds in the upcoming General Election (8 June)

Petition Details

16-17 year olds were ignored in the most important referendum of this century so far. It's important we get the chance to say how we want to live with the decision of leaving the EU that other people made for us.

Additional Information

16-17 year olds were ignored in the most important referendum of this century so far, and the polls showed the majority of our age group would have voted to stay in the EU. It's important we get the chance to say how we want to exit the EU, and ensure more MPs listen and take notice on the negative effects Brexit is having on this who are 16-17 and try to rectify these in negotions (E.g. Student Loan Interest Rate set to rise by a third after U.K. Inflation surge - Source: The Guardian)
