Enable voting rights for British expats for the General Election on 8 June 2017
British expats living outside the U.K. for more than 15 years aren't allowed to vote in elections & weren't allowed to vote in the EU Referendum which directly affects their lives.
Theresa May promised expats voting rights for the 2020 election. We need them now for the 2017 election!
Being a British expat does not mean that we cease to have an interest in how our country is run - especially having friends & family still living there. As British citizens living abroad, we are still governed by British laws & impacted by decisions made by government, and should therefore be able to vote.
Please sign & share with as many people as possible so that this is addressed in time for the election.
