Indefinite Leave to Remain for Commonwealth Citizens with 5 years of LEGAL stay.

Petition Details

As UK moved closer to the EU, Commonwealth Citizens rights have been severely restricted in favour of EU Citizens who acquire permanent residency after five years of continuous exercise of EU law rights (work, self-employment, studies etc).

Our petition: Extend rights to commonwealth citizens.

Additional Information

Brexit: As EU attempts to make UK exit from the Union "PUNITIVEā€ as a deterrent to others, Commonwealth nationals will be the FORCE for PROGRESS.

The growing wealth and educational aspirations of Commonwealth nationals offer new market opportunities for the UK with a significant demand in the fields of science, health, sustainable development, engineering, higher education.
