Require anyone wishing to incorporate a limited company to provide proof of ID.
My business has recently been affected by fraud and the fraudster in question has previously been convicted of and imprisoned for such offences.
By using a false name, anyone can easily escape their responsibilities and continue to incorporate new companies to continue to defrauding the public.
My business has recently been affected by fraud and it appears that the fraudster in question has previously been convicted of and imprisoned for such offences. This person has now been declared bankrupt and therefore cannot hold office in an incorporated company.
By using a false name, he can easily escape his responsibilities and continue to incorporate new companies to continue to defrauding the public.
By introducing ID checks, this would limit the ability to defraud the public.
