SAVE NEWCASTLE-UNDER-LYME
We, the undersigned, strongly object to the Boundary Commission’s proposal to abolish Newcastle’s parliamentary constituency. These proposals completely disregard Newcastle’s community identity by splitting it into two. We call on the Government to instruct the Commission to take better account of community ties and to reject its proposals if it does not.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
This is a matter for the Boundary Commission for England which is currently conducting a consultation into its latest Boundary review. They are seeking comments from members of the public. To find out more please visit the BCE website.
