Parliament and a referendum on the EU

Additional Information

Proposed. That in the event that a Parliamentary vote does not result in a referendum of the British people on membership of the EU, that Parliament be required to debate and vote on the issue again on a monthly basis until a referendum is agreed.

Proposed. That in the event that a referendum does not mandate withdrawal from the EU, at least to the extent of only a trade relationship, a referendum should be held every three months until a result satisfactory to the majority of the people of Britain is achieved.
