Free Posthumous Pardon For St Thomas More

Additional Information

Free Posthumous Pardon For St Thomas More (1478-1535) Lord Chancellor 1529-1532 executed for refusing to accept the Act of Supremacy 1534 making King Henry V111 supreme head of The Church of England. He denied that men have a right to free individual interpretation of scripture. He claimed the Christian Church was one & indivisible. He was tried for treason and executed on Tower Hill His head was boiled and impaled on a pole & raised above London Bridge. This was a grave mis-carriage of justice. His only crime was to defend the Christian faith and to be obedient to the word & will of God.
