Ban the re-sale of concert & event tickets
The re-sale of concert & event tickets is preventing genuine fans from attending and is creating a black market for these items.
Too many people are frustrated at waiting for tickets to go on sale and then seeing them sell out in minutes as they are snapped up by illegitimate re-sellers.
I would like the government to make it illegal to re-sell tickets outside venues, on online auction sites and any other website.
People attending events would need to take photographic identification with them and it would need to match the name printed on the ticket.
Anybody not able to attend an event could return their ticket to the distributor for a refund of the face value of the ticket.
