Include a 'none of the above' option on the 2015 general election ballot paper
I would like a 'none of the above' option to be included in the 2015 general election ballot paper.
In the modern political era, the voting numbers have been on a steady decline with many people feeling as though parties and members of parliament do not represent them or enact their manifestos once a government is formed.
A 'none of the above' option in the ballot paper will increase the democratic will of the people - By demonstrating their dissatisfaction with parliamentary candidates and the behaviour and records of parliamentary business.
I wish to reverse the apathy towards politics by allowing the electorate to take part in the democratic process without feeling as though they must vote for a candidate who does not represent their views.
