Outlaw descrimination by landlords based on benefit status.
To make it illegal for private landlords to discriminate against potential tenants based on receipt of housing benefit.
The practice of advertising tenancy vacancies with 'no housing benefit' referenced in the advertisement is often indication that the landlord is dodging taxes rather than anything to do with tenant suitability.
This is currently widestread and is costilng the state millions whilst denying those in urgent need of housing equality in provision in the private sector.
