TRUE DEMOCRACY FOR THE PEOPLE

Additional Information

Make all petitions which have gathered 100,000 signatures the subject of a parliamentary vote in which the MP's are free to vote according to their consciences and the result to be binding on the Government. This would mean, for example, that if 100,000 people petitioned that MP's vote on whether the UK should have a referendum on whether we should stay in the EU or not and the vote was carried, the Government would be bound to hold such a referendum thereby giving effect to the will of the people.
