An urgent review the NHS 111 service.
Research exists evidencing the need for a robust, formal, systematic, mixed menthod review of NHS 111. The research strongly suggests that the use of computer decision support software to triage patients influences call handler-patient communication in ways that may compromise patient safety.

These pieces of research evidence the need for an NHS 111 review as patient safety is potentially compromised by many factors. The impact of NHS 111 on other health services has not been reviewed.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We're not sure exactly what kind of a review you would like to be done, or who you would like to be responsible for it. For example, we're not sure whether you'd like the UK Government to carry out this review, or whether you would like the Government to ask an independent body to carry it out.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
