Legislate for Votes for Life
UK Citizens living elsewhere in the European Union lose their right to vote in UK Elections and Referendums after 15 years away. Many still pay taxes in the UK, and rely on UK State Pensions. Votes for Life has been promised but not delivered. We seek legislation now.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We're not sure whether you would like the Government to extend the right to vote to all UK citizens living abroad, or only those who live in the EU.
You may like to sign this petition instead:
petition.parliament.uk/petitions/200005
Otherwise, you could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
