Ask Macmillan Cancer charity to stop running their campaign - Brave the shave.
One of the most emotional things a cancer patient goes through is loosing their hair due to Chemo and radio therapy. Many try to cover it up with scarves or wigs. The last thing they want to be reminded of is losing their hair. The Macmillan campaign is insensitive and should be stopped.
I had to shave my wife's hair off following Chemotherapy for breast cancer. I can honestly say, it is one of the worst things I have ever had to do.
I have asked Macmillan to reconsider and they have stated that over 50% surveyed agree with the campaign.
Putting that another way nearly half of all people surveyed were against the campaign.
Macmillan need to consider the emotional harm they are doing to the very people they are trying to help.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We're sorry to hear about your wife's illness.
We can't accept your petition because the Brave the Shave campaign is the responsibility of Macmillan, not the UK Government or Parliament.
You can complain about the Macmillan campaign by emailing Macmillan directly at [email protected]. You can also complain to the Fundraising regulator:
