We urge the government to reclassify medical negligence as a criminal matter

Petition Details

Too many cases of medical negligence are classed as a civil case and therefore the police are not required to investigate doctors involved. Any other profession causing death by neglect would be fully investigated by the police and handed to the crown prosecution service to determine charges.

When doctors neglect patients they should be treated in the same way as any other profession research harry prockos case
