Ban the word "unlimited" from marketing unless it is actually true
Companies in the UK often use phrases like "unlimited" or "limitless" to describe services, but these services often do have limits and those limits are simply undisclosed. Companies should disclose the actual limit instead of using 'big limit' and 'unlimited' interchangeably.
Microsoft recently sold a paid 'Unlimited' cloud storage plan via OneDrive, and then had to retract that offer when people started storing large amounts of data.
Mobile and Home Internet providers have often sold "Unlimited" internet plans which are slowed considerably after a certain threshold.
Cineworld and ODEON sell paid 'Unlimited' and 'Limitless' cards which are actually limited to only 2D films and the consumer must pay extra to see any other format

The Government is not directly responsible for advertising. All forms of advertising in the UK are regulated by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) , who impose the British Advertising Codes.
