UK Government Please Help Igbo ethnic group Nigeria.
The Arewa Youth Consultative Forum in Northern Nigeria on 6/06/2017 gave ultimatum telling the Igbos living in the northern Nigeria to vacate their homes.There are hate songs/messages urging northerners to destroy the properties of Igbos and kill anyone who refuses to leave by 01/10/2017.
A recent United Nations Human Rights expert news release (25th August 2017) denounced the ultimatum and threat targeting the Igbos. There is military presence in the Igbo homeland of south eastern Nigeria.There is currently tension and fear among Igbos in the northern and eastern regions of Nigeria.UK government please urge the Nigerian government to dialogue and call off the ongoing military presence in South Eastern Nigeria to avoid tension that could degenerate into full scale civil war.
