Raise basic salaries for 999 emergency call handlers
After watching a TV documentary series, the extremely difficult, high pressure and increasingly busy environment that 999 emergency call handlers experience, it seems unfair that their basic salaries are relatively low.
£15,000-£26,000 is apparently the salary expected for this role

Although the entire NHS is financially stretched, and all NHS staff should ideally be paid more than they are currently, it is clear to see from watching this documentary, that the extreme pressures that these call handlers work under should be rewarded with a higher basic salary for the amazing work they do!
