Ofsted Inspectors should all carry out inspections to the same standard.
Ofsted Inspectors carry out inspections of Childminders on a regular basis, however, these inspections are subject to each Inspectors individual interpretation of the rules, I believe each Inspector should work to the same standards to avoid confusion and additional stress to childminders.
There are various instances where childminders have been given an outstanding grading for a number of years, then a different inspector will decide that they are providing childcare using techniques that despite having been perfectly acceptable for previous inspectors, isn't liked by the current one and the provider is marked down. Ofsted should also use a separate set of set of grading standards for childminders instead of using the same criteria as nurseries.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We are not sure what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition setting out clearly what you would like the Government and Parliament to do. For example, you could start a new petition asking for separate and specific grading standards for childminders, if that's what you'd like to happen.
