MPs must be given free votes on all e-petitions that are debated in parliment
When a petition gains enough signatures to be debated in parliment, MPs must be allowed a free vote. This right should be given and protected by legislation. Party leaders must be prevented by law from interfering with the public's will by the use of whips.
