Debate the revoking of Uber's licence to operate in London
I am shocked by the decision by Tfl to revoke the Uber license; indeed, it is a Luddite decision. It is a fast, cheap and efficient service for Londoners and other cab services simply cannot compete.
Londoners have lost out, competitive pressure is eliminated and drink driving is likely to increase due to the inefficiency of other services. This is not even to mention the 40,000 Uber drivers out of work!
