Make ielts results valid for at least 10 years.
It s rip off for those who live in English speaking countries but still have to give ielts after every two years if they need e.g higher education / immigration etc

Universities, not the UK Government or Parliament, set their own entry requirements.
You could start a new petition asking for the UK Government to accept IELTs results up to 10 years old as evidence for language requirements for visa applications.
