All dogs are to be walked on a lead at all times in public places.
Each year, Hundreds of off-leash dogs have attacked other dogs, adults, children And wildlife.
I own two SBT who have been attacked numerous times through no fault of their own as they have always been on leads.
There is no particular breed that is dangerous off lead, any dog can be.
Each year, vets deal with large amounts of injured dogs and wildlife, such as squirrels and rabbits, who have been attacked by off-leash dogs. People are at risk as off-leash dogs are Walked through/on parks, playgrounds, pavements and school fields. This can be prevented by keeping dogs on leads at all times in public places and using the correct, designated, secure fields built for off-leash dogs.
Let's make this country safer by being responsible dog owners and keeping your dog(s) on a lead.
