Petition Action

Make a law that requires (absent) fathers to see their children!

Petition Details

It's neglect when a mother doesn't take care of her child but why isn't it neglect when men don't?
Paying child support will not support a child's emotional growth!

Additional Information

Many children are growing up emotionally damaged from the rejection and many unanswered questions they have when their father isn't around . It's time to end this cycle of emotional trauma for children!

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you're concerned about non-resident parents who don't see their children, but we're not sure exactly what action you'd like to see.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
