Stop Velo coming to Birmingham and surrounding areas
On Sunday 24th September 2017 Velo was hosted in Birmingham and surrounding areas. It resulted in chaos for road users.
Many residents were not notified and didn't find out what was actually happening until the week before. At 9pm on the night people were still gridlocked. Families were distressed at not being able to visit ill relatives. This event was totally mismanaged and should not have taken place. We need to stop this from happening again. Businesses were badly affected too. It may have been for charity but the attitude of those taking part was selfish.
