England's opinion on Scottish Independence
As the SNP propose a referendum on Scottish Independence I propose an English referendum to decide if this country still wants Scotland to remain part of the United Kingdom.
We have foregone devolved powers, but remain unique as England's political decisions remain solely at Westminster.
If nations can unilaterally call referendums on full devolution from the UK, it is right that England should be able to debate and democratically decide if we still want to maintain the Union.
