The council to provide 24/7 childcare service to enable anyone access to work.
I am a single parent trying to do evening classes and work, however I am finding it impossible to access registered childcare after 6pm or weekends. I have spoken with the head teachers in schools and they also agree that they all have many parents who don't have support, nurses, or shift-workers.
Childcare could be provided by the council 24/7 and staff located in any area. This means people can work in extended jobs and is important in many sectors of work. The private childcare arrangements is not supportive and last minute emergencies is unobtainable.
If the council provided help with limit of children and let the establishment grow then it will provide more work to qualified childcare support and enable parents to work and not be discriminated against as currently they are.
