Make this country work for people who need to remain EU citizens
The Prime Minister has pledged to make the UK a country that works for everyone. On the day that I lose my EU citizenship, my business collapses because I will no longer be eligible for much of the work that I do. This country cannot work for me unless I retain my EU citizenship.
I and many people like me have built businesses based on consulting work that is financed either by the EU itself or by member states. Our eligibility for that work depends on being EU citizens. There are many others whose business interests depend on EU citizenship. The Prime Minister has pledged to make this a country that works for everyone. We hereby hold her to that pledge by finding a way to enable us to retain our EU citizenship, however politically inconvenient that may be.
