Increase the funding for ambulances in the East of England
The East of England has some of the slowest response times times in the country.
The target response time for ambulances is 8 minutes.
In the postcode area IP19, the average response time is 27 minutes and 10 seconds, with only three percent of ambulances arriving within the 8 minute target.
We researched this topic extensively and found the average response times for each postcode area in the UK.
The East of England has some of the slowest response times in the UK.
We emailed appropriate staff at the NHS, who replied, and stated that funding was an extreme issue in the East of England.
They also stated that there were not enough funds for neither the ambulances or the staff to respond within the 8 minute target.
