Insurance companies penalise not at fault drivers by increasing the premium
Insurance companies are penalising not at fault parties after by increasing the premium after claiming. The government should legislate to remove their risk variables for not at fault drivers. Insurance premium increases after claim is made and even not at fault
My wife is a learner driver. She received insurance renewal premium for her car around £500, just a day before report an accident caused by a HGV when the car was parked at a car park. After reporting the incident, the same insurer increased the premium to more than £3,000.
The government should legislate the insurance companies not to increase the premium to not at fault drivers.
