Award H/B so rents paid in full to parents/sons/daughters over 18 M/Severe ASD
No discrimination in H/Benefit.Rent for parents with children over 18 who have moderate to severe Autism Spectrum disorder should be paid in full as thousands of parents cannot work and are stuck on benefits due to lack of support as their young adult doesn't have the capacity to live independently.
My son is now 20 years old and does not have full coherency. I have singular guardianship. He receives very little support and I receive the same 10 hrs. At the last meeting social services wanted to
drop those hours by a further 4. I cannot work because I am my sons
full time carer, meaning I am forced to remain on benefits. I have rent & bills to pay not to mention ensuring that their are hearty meals on the table for a growing lad. My housing benefit doesn't cut it do S/Fall's still £374 pm
