Make cittizenship a compulsory part of the school curriculum from year 4-11.

Petition Details

As a teenager today i am aware of the increase of organisational violence, example terrorism. Introducing cittizenship at year 4-11 will raise some of the issues in our society, in a safe environment. Allowing young people to become more open minded and feel part of the wider community.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Citizenship is already compulsory for students at Key Stages 3 and 4 (years 7 - 11).

If you'd like citizenship to be compulsory in primary school, you could start a new petition asking for that.

You'll need to give your full name to start a petition.
