I would like to see it a legal requirement for cats to be microchipped

It would just make life alot simpler for vets & owners .If something happened to your cat at least you would know instead of forever hoping ????

Additional Information

I run the group our pets uk and it's very sad the amount of cats that are killed in accidents , if they were microchipped owners would be notified .Cats do stray and would be easier to reunite with owners
