Keep 100pc business rates local to give residents in Lincolnshire a fair deal
We pay our tax just the same, but money coming back to councils has plumetted. The promised 100pc business rates spent locally has halved, leaving us seriously short and essential services skeletal. Lincolnshire is short-changed by £94.7m pa, £116 incl. N and NE Lincolnshire. Fair funding please!

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure whether you would like more government funding to be allocated to Lincolnshire or whether you would like changes to business rates.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
