Give Retained Firefighters the right to leave employment to respond to 999 calls
Retained Firefighters make up a majority of the fire stations across Norfolk. Retained FireFighters drop their responsibilities the second their alerters alarm. Heading towards the fire station to respond to a 999 emergency.
I'm appealing for the rights of these firemen to be able to leave their employment to respond to life changing 999 calls .
I aim to make it a law that employers have to allow retained Firefighters to leave their workplace to respond to these fire calls .
