We ask UK government to suspend the right to broadcast for the BBC.

Petition Details

BBC has knowingly been repeatedly biased on Brexit since GE15. We the undersigned ask that their right to broadcast be suspended until their bias is fully and formally investigated by the authorities.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Looking at BBC content and taking action if appropriate is the responsibility of Ofcom not the UK Parliament or Government.

The BBC is required to deliver impartial news by the "Royal Charter for the continuance of the British Broadcasting Corporation" and the "Agreement Between Her Majesty’s Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport and the British Broadcasting Corporation".
