The BBC have axed Crimewatch a british icon the viewers deserve better.
Crimewatch has been on air for 33 years the public help lock up criminals with their calls ,the public pays the tv license fee and therfore deserves the best shows been kept on air.
Evidence Crimewatch for 33 years "your call is important to us" .The police will now suffer as the public will not see major crimes shown on the show and may not come forward as crimewatch showed faces and reconstructions.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The BBC is an independent body governed by a Royal Charter. Under the terms of that Charter, the BBC is operationally and editorially independent of government and there is no provision for the government to intervene in the BBC’s day-to-day operations.
You might like to write to the BBC to make this suggestion.
