People with criminal records should not be allowed to be MPs

Additional Information

The London rioters amongst others claim that their bad behaviour is justified because some MPs and bankers also behave badly. I would like to suggest that anyone who has been sentenced to more than three months in a UK prison should be ineligible to be a Member of Parliament or a Member of the House of Lords.
