Set up an independent organization to investigate police corruption re CSA cases

Petition Details

Most staff at the IPCC have no understanding of the legal system when it comes to CSA cases so there needs to an independent organization who can act for the victims & families of CSA when things go wrong.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

There is already an Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse which is looking at state and non-state institutions, including the police. You can find out more information here: www.iicsa.org.uk/terms-reference

We're therefore not sure what further action you'd like the UK Government or Parliament to take.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
