Review the care plan for women facing infertility from endometriosis

Petition Details

If you are the 1 in 10 with endometriosis you may not know; constipation, STI's and mental health are some common misdiagnosis. Maybe 7 years later a surgeon operates. They tell you that they couldn't remove it all to 'protect' your fertility, you're left in pain with difficulty conceiving.

Additional Information

To improve care regarding women's health the government need to allow all women regardless of age, relationship status or postcode with health related reproductive issues the opportunity to have their eggs frozen, fully funded by the NHS. With the correct guidance and information women should be allowed to make decisions on their own care such as a hysterectomy, if that will improve their quality of life.
This can only be delivered if GP’s gain additional training on women’s health diseases.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

If you want women with endometriosis to receive free IVF treatment and freezing of eggs, you may wish to sign this petition: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/202845

If you want an awareness campaign targeted at young women, you may wish to sign this petition: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/202334

You could start a new petition asking for the UK Government and Parliament to introduce an awareness campaign for health care professionals, if that's what you want to happen.
