Stop the NHS Prescribing British american tobacco Evoke e-cigarettes.
NHS are prescribing british american tobacco's evoke e-cigarette.
Not only is this supporting a tobacco company still selling tobacco products but also not providing people the information or support they will need in order to transfer to vaping permanently.
There are so many different types of vapes and desired effects from each one that offering one device with further information or support.
The NHS is currently perpetuating the tobacco industry and needs to be putting more focus on the vaping industry that stands completely separate from the tobacco industry.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
Evoke e-cigarettes are not listed on the NHS Prescription Services Drug Tariff. This means that they are not routinely prescribed on the NHS. We're therefore not sure what further action you want the UK Government or Parliament to take.
You can find out more about the Drug Tarriff here: www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/pharmacies-gp-practices-and-appliance-contractors/drug-tariff
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
