Stop GP surgeries charging for medical letters for patients.
GP surgeries often ask for payment for providing medical letters to some of the most vulnerable patients. For many patients , being asked to pay up to £25 for a letter to prove their medical condition can lead to greater stress, anxiety, and a feeling of hopelessness. Medical letters must be free.
