Make it compulsory to have sprinklers in all schools in the United Kingdom
Childrens lives are being put at risk because new schools or refurbished school since 2014 do not have to have sprinklers fitted
In Scotland and Wales it is mandatory so it should be the same for English and Northern Irish schools
The National Fire Chiefs Council believe all schools should be fitted as seen in this BBC article dated 25 October 2017
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-41744582
The DfE's "expectation that all new schools will have sprinklers fitted", unless a school is "low risk" and installation "would not be good value for money".
Despite this, less than a third of the 260 schools built since 2014 under the Schools Building Programme have sprinklers
