Recognise the independence of the Catalan Republic
In response to Spanish attempts to undermine their autonomy and suppress their democracy, Catalans have overwhelmingly voted to become an independent republic. Consequently, the Catalan Republic has declared independence from Spain.
The UK government must stand for democracy and recognise it.
