Stop the introduction of GP referral management centres
GP referrals to specialist must now be approved and vetted by referral management centres. However, the British Medical Journal (BMJ) reported that there is no evidence the centres are reducing costs and improving quality of referrals. Thus, the centres serve to reduce access to medical treatment.
