Petition Action

The Catalan people have voted for independence, this should be recognised.

Petition Details

On October the 1st a referendum for Catalonia to become an Independent Republic was held and whilst Spain deemed it Illegal the Catalan Government were simply asking a democratic question. The people responded with 90% of the voters in favour of independence. On the 27th, Parliament declared it.

Additional Information

The will of the people must be respected. Just like it was when we voted to Leave the European Union. We had the right to decide our own destiny, and it’s only right that the Catalans should too.
