Petition Action

Stop images and video of fatal accidents in Motor sports being published by media and You tube.

Additional Information

We the undersigned residents of The UK wish to bring to the Governments attention the unsavoury practice of persons posting video clips of fatal motorcycle race accidents on hosting sites such as You tube and Facebook.
We also ask that as our elected government you bring a debate to the house to discuss and explore the possible avenues to facilitate the following.
That there can be restrictions placed on hosting companies with regard to this offensive material.
That discussions be held with the judiciary on what legislation can be created to enforce such restrictions.
That regulation be discussed on the response of hosting companies when offended members of the public complain to them.
That if individuals from within the UK territories post such items, they can be held responsible and prosecuted under offensive behaviour or offences against public decency.
