Help create a fair tax system for all rather than one that supports the wealthy
The tax system favours large companies and wealthy individuals who can avoid virtually all taxes on their income. The shortfall means higher effective tax rates for everyone else. Help mitigate the imbalance to the UK economy and its taxpayers with these simple changes.
Equalise the tax rates for income and capital gains – wealth is mainly generated from gains not income but is taxed less even though it has a greater potential to adversely affect the economy if fueled by debt.
Prevent the tax system from supporting these debt fuelled gains by capping ‘Earnings Stripping’ by multinational corporations and disallow for tax purposes the company’s interest expense above £1 million per annum and restrict intragroup recharges to 5% maximum of turnover.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what specific change you'd like to be made to the rates of taxation for income tax and capital gains tax.
